spoiled sweet

Makena had a photo shoot today for a custom boutique designer Spoiled*Sweet. The outfit was so adorable, and was tailored to fit her exactly. The designer made a coordinating "sister set" for Peyton, and so they modeled together. The outfits will be sold in her e-bay boutique which is part of the Anthology, Inc. group and will be made custom to your child. Is this outfit not the cutest?? We are having so much fun with this!

it's a world of laughter...

We took a trip to Disneyland this weekend and had the absolute best time. It was Makena's first trip and she was in heaven! She knew most of the characters from books and her favorite TV shows, so she was ecstatic when she saw them in person. She loved every ride we went on, including Pirates of the Caribbean--and was an angel waiting in line, including one that we had to wait an hour! It was pretty remarkable. We had so much fun, we can't wait to go back!

Makena was asked to do a little modeling for some boutique designers. Our friends Holly (photographer) and her daughter Peyton have been involved in this type of thing for awhile so they recruited Makena. First photo shoot went pretty well--better than I expected, she acted like being in the studio came very natural to her. She may not always smile for the camera when I pull it out, but she does seem to "pose" with her perfect little pout face that I love!

Just had to show you Makena's new obsession...She goes up and down over and over and she loves it! Gives me a little break for a few minutes too!!

looks like rain...

It was raining today, so we decided to go outside and play in rain gear. Makena refused to leave the patio when the rain was coming down, however she thought it was fun to play in the dog's water bowl and splash it all over her. Go figure! Anyway--here are a few pics from today!
